At the Rosenberg Center, we realize that assessment and therapy is very important to you and your child. However, assessing or providing treatment to a child who is not feeling well is not therapeutic and risks exposing providers to an infection or disease that may lead to illness being spread to others. Therefore, we have established the following illness exclusion policy which adheres to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
Assessment or therapy should not occur if your child has exhibited any one of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours:
In the event that your child is exhibiting any of the above symptoms we ask that you contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. Also, if anyone else in the household is experiencing any of these symptoms they should not accompany the child to his or her appointment. If you are unsure regarding your child’s status, please contact us and we will use our discretion in deciding whether your appointment should occur as scheduled. In the event you arrive for an appointment and we find your child is exhibiting any of the above listed symptoms, we reserve the right to cancel the session and attempt to reschedule for a later date. Adherence to this policy will help ensure your child and the other children and families we serve, and our providers are not exposed to potentially harmful infection or disease. If you have any questions regarding this policy please contact us at 651-636-4155. Thank you for your help in keeping the Rosenberg Center a happy and healthy place.
