Since becoming a nurse practitioner, I have worked at hospitals and clinics within an integrative medicine and/or integrative mental health subspecialty. The care I provide focuses on guidance for pediatric patients from a holistic perspective, using an integrative approach of blending conventional and complementary therapies; looking at the whole person considering environmental, cultural and contextual factors that may impact optimal functioning. I work to empower children and adolescents to live healthy lifestyles while emphasizing the benefits of self-regulation strategies and promoting self-care. My current areas of interest include Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Depression, Stress Related Physical Symptoms such as Headaches and Stomachaches, Mind-Body Skills, and Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback.
Outside of work, I love to travel and explore other cultures. I also enjoy boating, paddleboarding, hiking, snowshoeing, cooking and baking.
